Award-winning children’s book author Maxine Rose Schur (www.maxineroseschur.com) will be providing a sampling from her upcoming workshop: Write a Story Kids Want to Read. Focusing on the novel, whether a chapter book, middle grade or YA, Maxine will share her ideas on how you can create a strong protagonist that comes across as authentic and most important―one that readers care about.
A former professional actress, Maxine uses acting/theatre techniques to develop interesting, believable, characters.
Maxine will be happy to answer your own questions in a lively Q & A afterward.
Maxine’s workshop is for you whether you have just an idea, a partial or a full manuscript. It’s designed to provide highly-individualized guidance to you in a small group setting.
The course starts Tuesday evening, January 15 at the Writing Salon in San Francisco. If you have questions about it, you can contact Maxine directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Information about the course is here: Write a Story Kids Want to Read
